IpumsApiClient.get_metadata(obj)

Retrieve detailed metadata for a specific IPUMS resource.

Parameters:

obj (IpumsMetadata) – Metadata object specifying the IPUMS resource for which to retrieve metadata

Returns:

An object of the same class as obj with attributes containing the metadata receieved from the API
